Bust Em Remastered

Delete account & data

Effective and last updated: 22 October 2026

Request deletion in the game or by email.

This page explains how to delete your Bust Em Remastered game profile or request removal of related data. The same instructions apply to Original/Legacy and Remastered modes.

1. Delete a connected profile in the game

  1. Open Options and select Signed In.
  2. Select Delete profile.
  3. Read the warning and confirm deletion.

You need access to the connected game session. Eligible players aged 16 or older can open Options → Login to sign in to the same game account first if the session has expired; the entry becomes Signed In when connected. If you cannot access the app or account, use the email option below.

Deleting the game profile releases its permanent nickname claim and keeps device-local progress and separately submitted public scores. It does not delete your Google or Apple account, refund purchases, or erase app-store purchase history.

Under-16 and local-only/unknown modes do not expose cloud sign-in or account management. If an earlier connected profile still needs deletion, use the email process below. An account-independent parent purchase does not create a cloud profile to delete.

2. Request deletion without the app

Email contact@monkeyforgegames.com with the subject Bust Em — account or data deletion. You do not need to install the game to make this request.

  • Say whether you want to delete your cloud profile, remove one or more leaderboard entries, ask about an account-independent purchase record, or delete other identifiable information you have supplied.
  • For a connected profile, identify the sign-in provider and email associated with the game, if available. An Apple private-relay address can differ from your usual email.
  • For a leaderboard entry, include the nickname, difficulty, and score so we can locate it.

We may ask for additional information reasonably needed to locate the data and verify that you are the account holder or an authorized parent or guardian. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, payment-card details, or raw purchase or sign-in tokens.

Email a deletion request

3. What is removed

Deleting a connected profile removes its active cloud profile, linked provider mapping, saved completed and unlocked levels, optional display name and email, permanent nickname claim, and game sessions. The nickname becomes available for another profile to claim. Signing in again after deletion creates a new game profile; it does not restore the deleted claim. Apple authorizations retained by the game are also revoked as part of Apple-profile deletion.

In supported releases, each connected game profile can claim one permanent, case-insensitive unique nickname, restored when the same profile signs in on another device. New eligible high scores are shared only when you explicitly choose Submit; historical local scores are not automatically uploaded. Account-owned submissions use an authenticated score endpoint and a private, opaque profile-ownership reference. Your email and provider account identifier are not public. Older anonymous entries remain historical and establish no nickname ownership; older installed releases may still use the earlier anonymous submission flow during compatibility support.

Profile deletion does not automatically remove public scores or the limited private ownership references retained to prevent submission reuse. Tell us explicitly if you also want public scores removed, or use in-game reporting for moderation concerns. We can process an identifiable-data request without deleting an entire cloud profile where that is appropriate.

Device-local data is separate. To remove it, use the applicable app-data controls on your device. Uninstalling or clearing app data may remove local progress; device backup and secure-storage behavior can affect what remains.

The age band and hidden-score choices are local device settings; exact age and date of birth are not stored or uploaded. New choices store only under 13, 13–15, 16–17, 18 or older, or local-only/unknown. Older under-16 choices remain restricted without guessing a narrower age. In updated Android releases (version 0.5.43, build 128 and later), Parent area is shown for under-13, unknown and those older ambiguous choices, while known ages 13 or older do not see that settings entry. Other releases may show Parent area more broadly. Online features still require age 16 or older. A local purchase credential is kept in secure storage. On Android version 0.5.42 (build 127) and later, Restore purchases can recover paid access after that credential is lost or migrate an earlier account-linked purchase, provided the current Google Play account owns the unlock and the device passes the required verification. This does not recover completed levels. Account-independent iOS recovery is not enabled yet; use the original connected game account for an account-linked iOS purchase, or contact support before removing purchase-related storage.

4. What may be retained

  • Purchase verification: pseudonymous purchase identifiers and ownership records, including account-independent installation bindings, may remain to verify legitimate access, prevent transaction reuse or fraud, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. These records currently have no fixed automatic expiry. We review requests and remove them when the purposes requiring retention no longer apply, subject to applicable legal requirements. Profile deletion does not delete store records or guarantee anonymous recovery on a new device.
  • Public scores and leaderboard moderation: public score entries remain until separately removed. Limited opaque ownership references for account-owned submissions, submission fingerprints, removal records, report records and moderation history may remain to prevent a removed entry from being uploaded again and to protect the service. A report contains the public entry identifier, difficulty, fixed reason and time; it does not request reporter email or free text.
  • Backups: routine database backups retain the seven most recent copies. Deleted information may remain in protected earlier copies until normal rotation removes them.
  • Support and legal records: information necessary to handle your request or meet a legal obligation may be kept for those purposes.

We retain these records only for the purposes described; deleting an account does not cancel rights you may have over other personal information. We will explain any applicable limitation when responding to a request.

5. Parents, guardians, and other privacy requests

A parent or guardian can use the same email address to request review or deletion of information associated with their child. You can also ask to access or correct your information. Reasonable ownership or authority verification may be required.
